Transmission Tarification Guidelines

ERGEG, following a request from the European Commission and an ERGEG formal public consultation during May and June 2005, has developed guidelines on Transmission Tarification. ERGEG forwarded these guidelines on 28 July 2005 to the European Commission as its formal advice on these topics. It is expected that these guidelines will now enter a formal Comitology procedure as foreseen by Regulation 1228/2003.

The Regulation requires that guidelines on Transmission Tarification must be adopted at the same time as guidelines on Inter-TSO Compensation, and so the timing of the entry into force of both will depend, among other things, on the later of the two.
